• AECOM is looking for the position of Supervisor - Electrical - Transmission Line, who will supervise conductor, earth wire and OPGW stringing, sagging, clipping, hardware installation and pre-commissioning activities

• Inspect conductor, earth wire, OPGW, insulators, fittings, joints and hardware before use
• Check tensioners, pullers, compressors, dynamometers and testing-equipment calibration
• Monitoring: pilot-wire installation, conductor pulling, tension control and roller arrangements
• Verify mid-span joints, repair sleeves, dead-end compression joints and jumper connections
• Monitoring: sagging, temperature correction, clipping and final conductor positioning
• Check insulator-string assembly, hardware orientation, arcing horns, grading rings and vibration dampers
• Verify OPGW jointing, splicing, joint boxes, down leads and optical testing
• Monitoring: special-crossing arrangements and ensure compliance with approved crossing plans
• Verify minimum electrical and statutory clearances
• Check tower earthing, continuity and measured earth resistance
