AIIMS Rishikesh seeks a serving civil engineer on deputation; deadline 26 October

AIIMS Rishikesh advertises one Group A Executive Engineer (Civil) post under advertisement 2026/37. This is a deputation opportunity for an eligible serving officer, not a direct-entry engineering recruitment for fresh graduates. The advertised number is tentative and may change according to the institute’s requirements. Which organisations and officers are eligible

The civil-engineering notice covers officers under Central, State or Union Territory governments, universities, statutory or autonomous bodies, and research and development organisations. One eligibility route is holding an analogous post on a regular basis. Applicants should have their parent organisation verify both its eligibility and the equivalence of the service post instead of relying only on a similar designation.

Alternative service-grade routes

These are alternatives to the analogous-post route. The notice calculates experience at the last date for receiving applications, so include complete service dates rather than an approximate overall career length.

Pay level, age and deputation period

The post carries Pay Level 11, with the published scale of ₹67,700–₹2,08,700. That is the pay-matrix range, not a guaranteed take-home amount. The maximum age is 56 on the closing date. Deputation is initially for three years and is governed by the applicable DoPT and Government of India terms specified in the advertisement.

Closing date and proper-channel requirement

The notice gives 26 October 2026, or within 30 days of publication in Employment News, for receipt of the form and essential documents. It separately states that age and experience are reckoned on 26 October. Applications must be forwarded through the proper channel. A personal online résumé or advance email does not replace the prescribed forwarded deputation application.

Documents the parent organisation must forward

The package includes the prescribed Annexure A, attested relevant certificates and confidential reports for the last five years. The forwarding organisation must provide vigilance clearance, an integrity certificate, a statement of any minor or major penalties, and the latest salary slip showing designation, grade pay and level. The institute expressly warns that missing vigilance clearance or attested CR dossiers prevents consideration.

The notice directs Speed Post or Registered Post to the Recruitment Cell, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, PIN 249203. Mark the envelope with the name of the post and that the application is on deputation basis. Ensure the package reaches the institute within the notified period; the requirement is receipt rather than merely posting before the deadline.

Shortlisting and verification

AIIMS may shortlist candidates on the basis of the submitted biodata and call them for interview. Meeting the minimum conditions does not create a right to selection. Relevant original documents must be produced at the selection stage. The institute reserves the ability to decrease or cancel vacancies; applicants should follow the official recruitment page for any related update.

Before dispatch, compare appointment orders and promotion records against the precise AE or JE route being claimed.
