• SUMMARY OF POSITION AND OBJECTIVES:
• The main objective of this position is to plan, design, develop and execute the test suite to identify major defects early during the STLC and develop automation scripts where required to bring maximum ROI

• Development: test automation scripts using C#, Selenium, Protractor
• Support: enhancing the automation test framework by supporting a continuous integration environment with an automated smoke and regression test suite
• Participate in the refinement of user requirements associated with new product features and updates to existing product features by providing testing-related input
• Document test cases which will be used throughout the testing life cycle: end-to-end, sanity testing and regression testing
• Participate in reviews of test case design, test case coverage and script design with project stakeholders
• Engage with Product owner and functional analyst to clarify the requirements and strengthen the test suite
• Identify gaps in test coverage
• Execution: root cause analysis of escape defects and write test scenarios to fill the gap

Essential requirements and candidate background

• Experience: Apache JMeter for performance and load testing
• Must have knowledge on Web API testing (say using Postman or any API tools)
• Must have SQL skills to write join and sub queries to validate the test results using the underlying database
• Experience: Automation testing, C# or Java, API testing, BDD Cucumber, Selenium, postman, rest assure, SQL
• Experience: testing API/web services using any API tools (e.g. Postman)
• Experience: test case design using various testing techniques
• Good experience of SQL
• BE/MCA or equivalent degree/experience
