• Identify performance bottlenecks and propose solutions to improve system efficiency
• Research / execution: performance simulations and provide detailed analysis and reports
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in performance modelling and analysis techniques and best practices
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in SoC performance modelling and industry solutions

Essential requirements and candidate background

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 15+ years of experience in SoC performance modelling and analysis
• Proficiency: using Platform Architect or Emulation platform for performance modelling and analysis
• Understanding: SoC architecture, including CPU, GPU, DDR and interconnect subsystems
• Any knowledge of NPUs and AI accelerators would be an added advantage
• Experience: performance simulation tools and methodologies
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Communication and collaboration skills
• Work independently and as part of a team
