• Leadership: software and system validation planning and execution of embedded products, applications and solutions utilizing a wide portfolio of Renesas products
• Drive system level software technical decisions, ensuring robustness, usability and completeness of embedded solutions
• Collaboration: closely with systems, firmware/software, validation, and product engineering teams to ensure seamless hardware‑software integration
• Identify and mitigate system-level technical risks, ensuring highest user experience
• Planning and execution of new product prototype bring-up, bench-testing, and evaluation

Essential requirements and candidate background

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• 5-7 years experience in embedded firmware/software development required across multiple IoT application segments
• Understanding: Software Architecture and Design principles, Behavior-Driven Development and unit testing approaches
• Knowledge: ARM and RISC processors
• High-level of proficiency in C/C++, Embedded C programming
• Experience delivering production‑quality embedded software for MCU and MPU based platforms
• Good understanding of motor control software, real‑time systems, and embedded development workflows
• C/C++/ RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr)
• C#/.NET / Python (automation/tools, GUIs, packaging)
• Experience integrating host utilities with embedded targets over common interfaces (e.g., USB, UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet) across OS environments
• Experience: developing Agentic Tools
• Organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy
