Responsibilities and work described

• As the Solution Architect for Public Sector India, you'll be the technical lead for ServiceNow's entry into the Indian public sector

• Collaboration: with Public Sector BD & Sales Leads for the GTM plan for Central and State Ministries, Public Sector Banks and Higher Education / Universities
• Leadership: architecture sessions with government CIO, IT, and NIC teams, translating program goals into actionable blueprints
• Own the technical response on RFPs and tenders: compliance matrices, architecture, sizing, and clarifications
• Building: and run proof of concepts and demos across AI, workflow, and integration that prove value in days, not weeks
• Design: within government constraints: hosting, data localisation, security, AI governance, and integration with legacy and national platforms
• Co-sell with SIs and partners on solution scope, bid strategy, and delivery handoff
• Partner with Sales, Solution Consultants, Specialists, Product, and Legal on deal strategy and risk
• Work: with regional AI experts to shape and validate AI solutions and proof of concepts

Essential requirements and candidate background

• To be successful in this role you have:
• Experience: leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving
• This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry
• 8-10 years of exclusive public sector pre-sales experience (government, PSU, or SI/OEM on government programs)
• Communication: executive presence, storytelling, and written and verbal skills
• Able to simplify complex architecture for non-technical decision makers and earn credibility with CIOs, senior officials, and SI architects
• AI fundamentals (LLMs, agents, RAG, data readiness, responsible AI and governance), with the drive and capacity to reach expert level within 12-18 months
• Expertise in AI architecture, workflow automation, data & analytics, and integration frameworks
• Track record on tenders and RFPs, with fluency in procurement and compliance requirements
• Trusted advisor on deal strategy, not only demos
• Based in, or willing to relocate to, NCR (New Delhi), with regular travel to government offices

Preferred experience and additional strengths

• Depth in enterprise workflow or ITSM platforms (ServiceNow preferred; fast ramp expected if not), plus integration, API, data, and automation architecture
• Hands-on ServiceNow experience, including Now Assist and AI Agents
