• Design, develop, test, and maintain software that meets the needs of both customers and internal teams

Essential requirements and candidate background

• Skills You’ll Need:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or computer engineering
• 5+ years’ experience in software development required with organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy
• Coding skills using Python and Good understanding and coding skills in UI development
• Executes creative software solutions, design, development and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
• Understanding: Software Architecture and Design principles, Behavior-Driven Development and unit testing approaches
• Sense of software quality and treats testing, code review and documentation as part of the job
• Self-motivated and proactive that be able to take ownership of a feature or module with limited supervision
• Must have highly developed written and verbal cross-functional communication skills

Preferred experience and additional strengths

• Experience: RESTful API design and web technologies (HTML/JavaScript) is a plus
• Experience: basic electronics, microcontroller programming and bus communications strongly preferred
• Experience: DevOps including JIRA, Confluence and GitLab preferred
